Fall Fun in San Ramon

Nate and John finally finished their summer reading chart! Last Spring they set a goal to read 20 minutes, 5 days out of the week. If they did this all summer long they would earn football pads (which also happen to be their Halloween costumes)!

We're not huge Michigan fans, but as you might imagine, they did not have full BYU uniforms or the doormat of the Big 10 (Northwestern) so we had to go with the closest school to either of those, Michigan.

Liza had a fun time being the ref, and dodging them. Needless to say, they are stoked to wear them for Halloween.

Also attached are some other pictures of what's going down around here. If you want to see even more pics, click on the Fall Fun in San Ramon link at the top right of our blog.

Life is very good.

First of all the farmer's market makes me totally jealous! The food looks awesome and the prices are way low!
Second, its funny hour Nate and John can be battling for immortal glory and Liza will enlighteningly ponder the gentle subtleties of nature.

That's where Julie buys all our fruit & veggies....Windmill Farms. We happen to live very close to the fruit basket of America so things are pretty good in that department--I would say even exotically good. This place reminds me of Costa Rica more than you would ever expect. Come visit!

The football pad are the goods. Long live Nate and John. I notice no. 75 is not out . . . can't we make an exception for the retired number?
