We've feel like we've sort of fallen off the blog face of the earth, and we're experimenting with some new things blog wise. So, here is out latest recap on what's up with your own Dan & Julia Doxey family!

In short, we've just been through Spring Break, Liza's Birthday Parties, 100 Year Scout Jamboree (with 12,000 Scouts), Heidi & Clay visit, 6 Flags for the kids, etc. Busy. Really fun, but busy.

The kids are loving reading and doing their homework lately. It melts me when the girls sit in their chair and Liza "reads" to Caroline. John loves the homework table.

Liza's 4th birthday was a fun 2 week celebration. (Don't know why we always celebrate so long. Fun memories I guess?) She loved her purse cake we had for the family party. We always love having the John & Tom Call families over. Then, of course the birthday breakfast on her real birthday. We usually have birthday pancakes but she says she doesn't like them. (What's not to like about freshly make pancakes topped with syrup and stacked with ice cream and strawberries between them?) So, we had big dutch baby instead.

Liza was dying to have a real princess tea party with only girls. So, after Spring Break we had a morning princess tea. So fun to paint nails, spray perfume, make crowns and drink tea with real china tea cups. The girls favorite part was lifting their pinky finger when they drank their tea. Priceless!

Dan let me type a little bit on the blog and I totally messed it up! Apparently I deleted all the pictures of Santa Barbara with the Bogles. Sorry, Dan!

Love the "Princess Party"! Wish I could have been there. I've missed out on the whole princess thing, having boys.
For the record, if you're ever making the trip to Disneyland, Aunt Dorothy is IN, and my new standing tradition is a princess lunch for the girls(on me) at Ariel's Grotto for any and all of my nieces!!
The boys will just have to ride a roller coaster, or two, while we're dining with royalty.
Love you all!
