It's been a sports/musical weekend in the Bay Area, and you need to know all about it. For those of you that couldn't make it to all the festivities, let me tell you what you missed.
For starters, we Mom & Dad Call drove here on Friday in record time, 11.5 hours. We are sooooo excited to have them here again. Nate, John and Liza (and us of course) are bouncing off the walls in excitement to have them stay with us.
They were able to come to John's soccer game Saturday and see him score another goal. Nate and Julie missed it as they were at Nate's basketball tryouts. Nate also played a great soccer game later in the day.
After all that, it was time for Julie's Piano Student's Fall Recital, which we held in the RS room at the Church. There were 50+ people there, about 1/2 of which hadn't ever been in an LDS Church before. 20 of her 22 students performed and it was GREAT.

Sounds fun! Don't ya love family coming to visit? It is the BEST! We love it too! It is one of the things that makes living away awesome, because you get soooo thrilled to have visitors! :)
That is so neat that you had it in the church. Way to go missionary Julie!!
Julie- way to go with 22 students! That's quite a bunch of kids- are they at all levels?
